What you’ll do:

We’re looking for an Electrical Designer to join our Mining team, supporting the delivery of small to mid-sized sustaining capital projects. This role could suit a mid-level or senior designer, depending on experience.

You’ll work closely with engineers and project teams to develop practical, buildable designs across a range of mining and infrastructure projects.

  • Produce electrical design deliverables including layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings

  • Develop and maintain 3D models (plant and/or infrastructure) in line with project requirements

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, structural) within a 3D environment

  • Support design reviews, clash detection, and model coordination

  • Ensure drawings and models meet relevant standards and client specifications

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and tools

About you:

  • Experience as an Electrical Designer within mining, resources, or heavy industry

  • Strong capability in 3D modelling (e.g. Bentley, Autodesk, or similar platforms)

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems in a mining context

  • Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities

  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach

  • Familiarity with Australian standards and client-specific requirements
