Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major outage works in the power generation sector, with a strong focus on Generator and Turbine Maintenance. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage complex, high-value projects critical to energy reliability.

This position will see you working Monday to Friday during pre and post outage, and on a continuous roster arrangement during the outages, based in Regional QLD.

Key Responsibilities of the role include but not be limited to:

  • Lead outage planning and execution for turbine and generator maintenance, upgrades, and associated works.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Manage risk, change control, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site teams during high-pressure outage periods.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager in power generation outages, particularly turbine and generator maintenance.
  • Strong commercial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and quality.
  • Australian recognized tertiary or trade qualification in a relevant discipline (highly regarded).
