Servcore is earnestly seeking a Service Technician (Electronic Equipment Trades Worker) to join our hard-working and supportive team.

Job Details: Full-Time, 38 hours per week.

Location: Unit 8 5-7 Meridian Place Bella Vista NSW 2153

Salary: $83,200.00 - $98,000.00 per annum + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities:

• Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
• Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
• Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
• Receiving messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission
• Monitoring radio traffic, and transmitting and receiving voice messages
• Installing electronic instruments and control systems
• Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems

Main Tasks:

• Represent Servcore professionally at all times, maintaining a high standard of presentation and compliance with company uniform requirements.
• Attend and complete client service requests within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively across project and service teams.
• Safely operate electrical testing equipment and tools in accordance with company procedures, Safe Work Method Statements and workplace safety requirements.
• Diagnose and rectify faults at client sites, with a focus on achieving first-visit resolution where possible.
• Maintain accurate records, including job status updates, field service reports, timesheets and relevant site documentation.
• Promptly report operational issues, safety concerns, site changes and other matters that may impact service delivery or client satisfaction.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Essential Skills:

• Strong communication skills;
• Strong knowledge of most commonly used security equipment.

Relevant Experience and Qualifications:

• At least two years of on-the-job training/experience
• Current drivers licence
