Full job description
We're excited to welcome multiple Protective Services Officers to our Protective Services Team.

As a Protective Services Officer, you will provide quality healthcare protective services ranging in nature from prevention to response and recovery.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors whilst also protecting the physical assets of the SCHHS.
Provide primary response to fire alarms and other emergencies, under direction of Chief Emergency Warden.
Guard, watch and patrol to ensure that the facility's security integrity is maintained, keeping an accurate record of daily activities/incidents in official notebooks, security logs, etc.
Monitor electronic surveillance and security alarm systems and respond to emergency codes and provide support for clinicians in the restraint of aggressive patients, provision of static guards, etc.
Salary rates: $44.01 - $46.13 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) (OO3) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
