Build your Employee Relations expertise in a complex and evolving environment.
Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant to join our Employee Relations team. In this role, you'll provide expert advice across a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters, helping leaders navigate workforce issues with confidence and supporting fair, consistent and compliant decision-making.
No two days are the same; from performance and conduct matters to workplace investigations, grievances, disputes and organisational change, you'll be involved in a diverse mix of work that offers both challenge and variety. You'll build strong relationships across the District, work closely with union representatives and contribute to workforce initiatives that support our people and our services.
This is an opportunity to take on meaningful and visible work in a large and dynamic organisation, where your expertise will be valued and your contribution will have a direct impact on workplace culture, employee experience and service delivery.
About You
You're an experienced IR/ER, Employment Law or HR professional who combines sound judgement with a practical and collaborative approach.
You bring:
-
Experience advising on employee and industrial relations matters
-
Knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and workplace policies
-
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
-
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
-
A solutions-focused mindset and confidence navigating sensitive workplace issues
Most importantly, you build trusted relationships, approach challenges with professionalism and resilience, and enjoy helping leaders achieve positive workforce outcomes.
Join a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement and professional growth, where you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a workforce that delivers essential healthcare services to the Central Coast community every day.
Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
