Learning Support Officer - 2027
Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School, Wendouree is seeking a Learning Support Officer to join our team for the 2027 school year.
Our Lady’s is a small, vibrant and welcoming school in Ballarat’s west. Every Face Has a Place is more than our motto. We pride ourselves on knowing our students and families well, building strong relationships and creating a place where people genuinely feel they belong.
We are particularly proud of our staff culture. We are a close, supportive team who work hard, help each other and genuinely enjoy working together. Finding the right person to join that team matters to us.
We are looking for someone who is warm, positive and dependable, who genuinely enjoys working with children and who understands the importance of working as part of a team. We want an LSO who will support our students to grow in confidence and independence while contributing positively to the culture of our school.
The position is five days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:50 am to 3:15 pm. These days and hours are not negotiable. LSO position 2027.docx

About Us
Our Lady Help of Christian's Parish School, Wendouree, is a Catholic school of approximately 200 students, which services the needs of families in north-west Ballarat. Established in 1961 by the Sisters of Mercy, we are now run by lay staff.
We work together with families, so each uniquely gifted child can continue to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually to achieve fullness of life. We are based upon the traditions of the Catholic faith and has a strong commitment to social justice. We provide stimulating, challenging and contemporary teaching strategies. We strive to foster mutual respect, responsibility and service within our school community. We aim to promote justice and the dignity of everyone, in an atmosphere in which each child's natural creativity can emerge and where each child values God's gifts, particularly environmental sustainability.
