At our Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics (WHOC) in West Perth, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Patient Services Attendant to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. The position is available as either:

0.2 FTE (Thursdays only), or

0.4 FTE (Tuesdays and Thursdays),

depending on the successful applicant and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Patient Services Attendant works under the direction and supervision of the Oncology Nursing Unit Manager to provide a high standard of clinical and patient support services, environmental cleaning and catering services.

The role of this position is to deliver a high standard of patient support services and environmental cleaning to assist the hospital to meet its clinical, operational business and strategic, legislative, and health care standards and objectives.

  • Strong time management skills in order to maintain a high standard of cleaning, catering and patient support standards.
  • General experience in food handling and preparation.

Desirable

  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
  • Current Food Safety Certificate, or equivalent.
