Employment Type: Permanent Full time(100%) or Part time (80%)
What You'll Do
Own the delivery of BCG ANZ's UP agenda, partnering with C&E Senior Manager to evolve priorities and deliver measurable impact
- Shape D&I and wellbeing priorities and new strategic initiatives, to focus energy and move the needle on key topics; drawing on external best practice, understanding of the BCG environment, and an innovative mindset
- Work with peers across the People Team to further embed inclusion in our processes and systems; e.g., inclusive recruiting practices, workplace adjustments policies
- Oversee and coordinate efforts across our seven employee-led D&I Pillars (Women@BCG, PRIDE, Socio-economic Diversity, Accessability@BCG, First Nations, Kulcha & Ethnicity, Champions for Change), including:
- Work with Pillars to shape their priorities in line with BCG’s broader D&I and business agendas
- Provide strategic advice to Pillars on initiatives they lead; e.g., affiliation and awareness sessions
- Oversee Pillar budgets to ensure they’re directed toward areas of highest impact
- Help mobilize new Pillars and manage responsibilities for emerging DE&I priorities as needed
- Lead the design of programming to upskill leaders and staff on D&I and wellbeing topics, e.g., conscious inclusion training and cultural awareness, partnering with our L&D team to embed inclusion in the core curricula
- Facilitate engagement with BCG ANZ’s broader senior leadership group on D&I topics, working closely with the D&I Executive Sponsor and Executive Champions for each Pillar
- Track metrics related to our D&I priorities, including from our annual People Survey, to help make data-driven decisions on future priorities and areas where further analysis is required
- Serve as a BCG representative in external D&I forums and shape external partnerships; e.g., Pinnacle Foundation
- Lead BCG’s submissions for external recognition related to D&I; e.g., WGEA Employer of Choice, Australian Workplace Equality Index, DCA Inclusive Employer Award
- Centrally coordinate business-wide D&I related communications, e.g., on days of cultural significance
- Engage with counterparts leading D&I and wellbeing efforts in other BCG regions, to collaborate on common goals and share emerging best practice
Support broader engagement efforts, to foster affiliation, connection and belonging:
- Support engagement and affiliation across BCG ANZ, including supporting major events (e.g., Firmwide, Senior Women’s Conference) in partnership with broader People and Office Teams
- Support BCG’s People Survey, including communications to support survey participation, analyzing results and helping prepare in forums such as Board meetings and Town Halls
- Remain current on the latest topics and innovations in D&I and employee engagement, to continually strengthen our approach and pilot new ideas
What You'll Bring
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence senior decision-making
- Strong and structured communication skills – both written and verbal
- An ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
- A ‘customer-focused’ mindset, committed to continually improving our employee value proposition
- A structured problem-solving approach; able to work top-down to drive outcomes pragmatically
- Strong organizational skills; able to execute on multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- An enthusiasm to learn, take on new challenges, and flex to support our people agenda as needed
- A tertiary level qualification in a relevant field
- Experience in a professional services context, and/or in Human Resources
- Up to date knowledge on key trends in the D&I and employee engagement landscape
- Demonstrated project ownership skills – e.g., overseeing major projects/portfolios to deliver outcomes
- Proficiency across Microsoft Suite, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Who You'll Work With
You’ll report to our ANZ Capability & Engagement Senior Manager, and will also closely with the broader People Team, the Unlocking Potential MDP Sponsor, Global Unlocking Potential teams, and BCG X teams.
