Your new role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Banking collateral team, you’ll steer the modernisation of legacy platforms under the ADP transformation program. You’ll spend around 70–80% of your time shaping backend APIs in .NET and AWS, while also delivering front-end enhancements in React once core services are live. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of one collateral service stream, working closely with fellow engineers, a business analyst and a product manager to design resilient solutions. This role blends backend craft skills with enough React work to give you full-stack exposure.

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid expertise in .NET (version 8+ preferred) and object-oriented design
• Hands-on experience building, testing and deploying APIs independently
• Familiarity with AWS services and PostgreSQL for scalable data storage
• Practical React skills or willingness to pick up front-end best practices
• Strong grasp of system architecture, design patterns and API‐first development
• Bonus: Python exposure to support auxiliary scripting and automation
• Comfortable with a hybrid rhythm, joining onsite rituals twice a week
