About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and motivated Pathway Carers to join our team across all care communities in Metro Sydney & Northern Beaches of NSW.

This role has been designed as an entry pathway into aged care, providing you with hands-on experience, structured learning and the opportunity to build a meaningful long-term career supporting older Australians.

Working alongside experienced care teams and under the guidance of our clinical team, you'll assist residents with their daily care, wellbeing, social connection and quality of life while developing the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding future in aged care.

No previous aged care experience is required - we'll provide the training, support and career pathway to help you succeed via the Opal HealthCare Academy!

What You’ll Do:
  • Support residents with daily living tasks in a safe and respectful way
  • Build genuine relationships and provide meaningful social connection
  • Assist with non-clinical care, including meals, laundry and environment
  • Work alongside experienced care teams in a supportive setting
  • Learn on the job while working towards your Certificate III
You will have:
  • The ability to work Monday to Friday on AM morning shift
  • A compassionate, caring and people-focused nature
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to follow direction and work reliably
  • The right to work in Australia
  • The ability to complete pre-employment checks (medical, police, NDIS)
