Natural Environment Team Member
Open Space & Environment
Permanent Full Time
Hervey Bay

Operations Level 3 - $68,660 plus superannuation
  • + annualised allowance of $2682

What we are looking for:

Due to internal movements, we’re looking for someone to join our Natural Environment team. You’ll play a critical role in providing ecological restoration, revegetation and maintenance for Council bushlands and reserves.

What your day will look like:
  • Undertaking weed and plant identification
  • Monitoring plants for weeds, pests and diseases & identifying appropriate treatments
  • Using a range of minor plant and equipment
  • Monitoring environmental sites
  • Supporting community planting and volunteer activities
