General Field Crew – Business Events

Moreton Hire Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (On-site)

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Casual Crew Member/s to join our Field Team at Moreton Hire Sydney. In this role, you will be a key member of the team involved in the Pre-Planning and Bump In & Bump out of Exhibitions, Conferences & Events. Working alongside the Project Manager & Supervisors, this role requires individuals who are hands-on and able to work at a fast pace. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to work at some of the best venues across Sydney including the International Convention Centre, Sydney Showgrounds & all of the various 5 Star Hotels. There is also ample opportunity to travel interstate for various projects throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the setup and dismantle of Exhibition Stands, Booths & Pods along with general show elements (furniture, signage, AV, staging, flooring etc.), ensuring each project is finished ahead of schedule.

· Building of Outdoor Event Marquee structures from time to time.

· Operate forklifts (training provided) and drive MH Fleet trucks safely to transport stock and equipment to and from event sites and venues across Sydney.

· Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy equipment.

· Adhere to Site / Venue Safety Protocols and contribute to a culture of safety on-site, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your teammates.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and safe execution of all event logistics.

· Maintain resources, equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use.

· Demonstrate leadership skills by taking ownership of tasks and project and supporting the Project Manager across each project.
