Full job description

Emergency Logistic Solutions (ELS) | NSW & QLD | Event-based

Love motorsport? Thrive under pressure? We're hiring new and soon-to-graduate paramedics to join our trackside medical teams across Australia - with opportunities to branch into mining, film and TV, and major events as you grow with us.

About ELS

ELS is a specialist pre-hospital medical services provider. Our AHPRA-registered paramedics, nurses, and doctors deliver rapid, professional care trackside and on-site across some of the most demanding environments in the country - from club-level race meets to nationally televised competitions, and across mining, film/TV, and major public events.

We're a tight-knit, high-performance team, and we back our people with proper mentorship, real clinical exposure, and a pathway into event medicine that's genuinely hard to find elsewhere.

The Opportunity

This role is built for new-grad paramedics who want to:

  • Gain real-world clinical experience in a unique, high-stakes setting
  • Sharpen trauma assessment and on-the-spot decision making
  • Work alongside experienced paramedics, doctors, and rescue crews
  • Get a foot in the door while you wait out lengthy State Service applications

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering immediate pre-hospital care at motorsport and other high-risk events
  • Rapid patient assessment and trauma management trackside
  • Working in lockstep with motorsport rescue, fire, and race control teams
  • Assisting with event medical planning, setup, and pack-down
  • Keeping clinical documentation and equipment in top shape

About You

  • Recently graduated or soon-to-graduate with a Bachelor of Paramedicine (or equivalent)
  • AHPRA registered, or in the process of obtaining registration
  • Genuine interest in motorsport, trauma, or event medicine
  • Calm, adaptable, and confident when things move fast
  • Happy to travel and work weekends and event days
  • Strong communicator and team player

Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Previous event, sporting, or volunteer medical experience
  • Motorsport background or interest
  • Exposure to advanced first aid, rescue, or extrication

What We Offer

  • A rare entry point into motorsport and event medicine in Australia
  • Hands-on experience across diverse clinical environments
  • Mentorship from senior paramedics and medical professionals
  • Competitive event-based pay
  • Clear pathway into senior event roles and team leader positions
  • Flexibility while you navigate State Service timelines

How to Apply

Send your CV and a short cover letter - with what you would bring to the team, and your expected graduation/registration timeline — to contact@emls.com.au
