Event and Organising Staff Wanted

We are seeking reliable, professional and well-presented Event Staff to support the smooth delivery of upcoming events. This role is suitable for individuals who are confident in customer-facing environments, enjoy working with people, and can remain calm, organised and helpful during busy event operations.

The successful candidates will assist with guest registration, attendee guidance, ushering, crowd flow, room support, basic set-up and pack-down, information desk assistance, VIP or speaker support, and general event coordination duties as required. Event staff will play an important role in creating a polished, welcoming and efficient experience for guests, speakers, clients and event organisers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and attendees in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist with registration, ticket checking, name badges and guest lists
  • Direct attendees to event rooms, seating areas, amenities and key locations
  • Support event set-up, room preparation, signage placement and pack-down
  • Monitor guest movement and help maintain smooth crowd flow
  • Assist speakers, VIP guests, exhibitors or organisers where required
  • Respond to attendee questions with clear and helpful information
  • Report issues promptly to supervisors or event managers
  • Maintain a neat, professional and service-focused presence throughout the event
  • Follow all workplace health, safety and event procedures

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Professional presentation and positive attitude
  • Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
  • Calm under pressure and able to adapt quickly
  • Team-focused with a willingness to assist wherever needed
