Why this role?
As the Events & Activation Officer, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse range of events and activation opportunities across the city.
Working within the Playford Activation team, you will help bring community experiences to life through the delivery of inclusive, engaging and memorable events that strengthen community connection and celebrate our growing city.
You will contribute to:
- Civic and community events including Australia Day, Community Carols, ANZAC Day services and Citizenship Ceremonies
- Event planning, coordination and on the day delivery
- Activation opportunities that increase vibrancy and community participation
- Stakeholder engagement with suppliers, community groups and internal teams
- Event logistics including venues, catering, VIP coordination and technical requirements
- Marketing and promotional activities that build attendance and community awareness
- Continuous improvement through event feedback, reporting and insights

Qualifications in Event Management and/or demonstrated experience in event management and activation delivery will be highly regarded.
