The Role - What You’ll Do
You will play a critical role in analyzing player behavior, balancing the in-game economy, and providing data-driven insights to guide the future direction of our games. Collaborating closely with Game Design and LiveOps teams, you will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive long-term success. You will lead initiatives to optimize game economy features and strengthen experimentation through rigorous experimental design, A/B testing, and statistical modeling.

What You Bring - Key Skills & Traits Essential
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analyst roles within the gaming industry or product analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages like R or Python.
  • A deep understanding of data science workflows, experimental design, and core statistical methodologies.
  • Valid legal rights to work in New Zealand, such as a Work Visa, Residency, or NZ/Australian Citizenship.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with data engineering and data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • A solid understanding of and strong passion for free-to-play game business models.
  • A proven track record of leading impactful investigations in game or product analytics.
