NOW HIRING: DISABILITY SUPPORT DRIVER

Join a purpose-driven organisation making transport accessible and empowering for people with disability.

About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Driver to provide safe, consistent and inclusive transport for NDIS participants. This is more than a driving job, it’s a role where you’ll be supporting independence, access to employment and community connection.

Position Details

- Employment Type: Casual

- Location: Western Sydney, Bankstown and surrounding areas

- Pay Rate: $38.00–$40.00 per hour (SCHADS Award Level 2–3)

- Start Date: Immediate

- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Public Holidays + weekends when required

Key Responsibilities

- Safely transport participants to and from work, programs, and appointments

- Follow daily transport schedules and complete trip logs

- Communicate respectfully and professionally with participants and families

- Assist participants entering/exiting the vehicle where required

- Comply with FACS transport safety protocols and road laws

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, documentation, and service checks

- Adhere to all NDIS Code of Conduct and safeguarding responsibilities

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (C Class) - Reliable, roadworthy, and insured vehicle (if using own car) - NDIS Worker Screening Check or WWCC (or willing to obtain)

- Good communication and time management skills

- Respect for privacy, independence and inclusion of people with disability

- Willingness to undergo compliance training (FACS, NDIS, Transport for NSW)
