Are you an organised, compassionate and customer-focused administrator looking for a rewarding opportunity in healthcare? Join the North West Cancer Centre at Tamworth Hospital and become part of a dedicated team supporting patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
About the team
Our administration team of 17 plays an essential role in supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, haematologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, allied health professionals and radiation therapists.
About the role
As a Casual Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative and customer service support across Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Haematology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional reception and front-line customer service.
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments.
- Accurate data entry and medical record management.
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries.
- Providing administrative support to clinical and multidisciplinary teams.
- Helping ensure patients receive a seamless, respectful and professional experience throughout their treatment.
This position reports to the Administration Manager.
This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility with days, making it an excellent option for candidates seeking a role that can fit around their other commitments.
About you

Support and training
You will be supported by the Administration Manager and an experienced administration team. Our structured four-week buddy program will give you the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff across Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Haematology while building your skills and confidence.
