Catering Attendant | FIFO Opportunities | New Site Opening | ESS

At ESS, we deliver vital hospitality and support services to some of Australia's largest mining, energy and remote operations. We are excited to be launching a brand-new remote site and are seeking enthusiastic Catering Attendants to join our FIFO team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new operation from day one, helping establish a positive resident experience and strong team culture.

The Role

As a Catering Attendant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional food service and creating a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Working within a busy hospitality environment, you'll support meal service, food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and customer service across our village facilities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and presentation
  • Serving meals and beverages in dining facilities
  • Maintaining cleanliness of kitchens, dining rooms and food service areas
  • Operating dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely
  • Replenishing food stations and ensuring service areas remain well stocked
  • Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service to residents and guests
  • Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver outstanding service

The Person

  • Previous hospitality, food service, catering or customer service experience highly regarded
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong commitment to food safety and workplace safety standards
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
