YOUR DREAM OPPORTUNITY

As a Textile Production Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Senior Textile Designers, providing essential administrative and production support across the end‑to‑end textile process — from initial trend research through to bulk production.

You’ll play a key role in keeping artwork, strike‑offs, and submissions on track while gaining hands‑on exposure to a fast‑paced fashion design environment.

  • Organising and managing textile strike‑off submission cards for review, approval, or rejection
  • Taking detailed meeting notes and communicating feedback to external suppliers
  • Coordinating strike‑offs, resubmissions, and approvals
  • Preparing and setting up meeting rooms for bi‑weekly design reviews
  • Liaising with internal teams to confirm artwork and fabric selections for each range
  • Maintaining monthly print flow updates and artwork tracking
  • Collating artworks for Pre‑Sign Off and Sign Off meetings
  • Reviewing bulk shell and lining submissions to support on‑time production
  • Preparing and sharing trend research with the design team

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER US

  • A qualification in Fashion Design/Textile Design/Graphic Design is essential
  • Industry Placement Experience
  • Sound knowledge of local and overseas fashion retail markets
  • High attention to detail and information retention
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Microsoft Excel
  • Qualification in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Graphic Design
  • Industry placement experience within fashion or textiles (highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of local and offshore fashion retail markets
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Excel
