About Us

El Pinoy Care Services is a trusted provider of aged care and disability support services across Sydney. We are committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, wellbeing and respect.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable and confident female Support Worker to provide in-home support to an NDIS participant located in Western Sydney, between the Mount Druitt and Penrith areas.

About the Role

This role involves a combination of personal care, daily living assistance and domestic support within the client's home.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Personal care, including showering, dressing and toileting
  • Supporting the client with daily routines
  • Meal preparation
  • Laundry and bed making
  • General household cleaning
  • Mopping and bathroom cleaning
  • Kitchen cleaning
  • Following the client's individual care plan
  • Completing accurate progress notes and documentation

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Female, due to the client's personal care needs and preferences
  • Confident and comfortable providing personal care, including showering and toileting
  • Experienced or comfortable supporting NDIS participants in their home
  • Compassionate, patient and respectful
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to provide consistent support
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Able to reliably travel within the Mount Druitt / Penrith area
  • Available for weekday morning shifts

The client is a member of the Filipino community and has a preference for a Filipino female Support Worker who understands her language and cultural background. Tagalog/Filipino-speaking applicants and those familiar with Filipino culture will be highly regarded.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Ageing or equivalent) preferred
  • Previous experience in disability, aged care, home care or community support preferred
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Australian working rights
