About the Role:
As the Dialysis Clinic Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the clinic, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based haemodialysis care. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team while overseeing quality improvement initiatives, financial performance, compliance, education, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing clinical team.

  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred dialysis care.

  • Manage clinic operations, workforce planning, and resource allocation.

  • Drive quality improvement, risk management, and accreditation activities.

  • Monitor and improve clinical performance and patient outcomes.

  • Manage budgets and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives.

  • Develop and support staff through coaching, education, and performance management.

  • Foster strong relationships with nephrologists, healthcare providers, patients, and families.

  • Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, organisational policies, and quality frameworks.

  • Lead clinical governance activities, audits, and quality improvement projects.

About You

You are a confident and collaborative healthcare leader who is passionate about clinical excellence and staff development. You have the ability to balance operational priorities with a strong focus on patient care and team engagement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

  • Current practising certificate.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing or Health Management.

  • Minimum five years' relevant nursing experience.

  • Proven leadership and clinical management experience.

  • Extensive haemodialysis nursing knowledge and experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and risk management.

  • Strong financial, operational, and workforce management skills.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • High level of computer literacy.

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment

  • Clinical educator/adult learning experience
