About Flower Child Café Group

Flower Child Café Group is an established hospitality business operating multiple café venues across Sydney. Our venues specialise in contemporary Australian cuisine, specialty coffee and customer-focused hospitality experiences.

As part of our commitment to developing future hospitality professionals, we are seeking a motivated individual to participate in our Restaurant Management Trainee Program.

This workplace-based training opportunity is designed to assist participants in developing practical management skills within a commercial hospitality environment under the guidance of experienced industry professionals.

About the Program

The Restaurant Management Trainee Program provides practical exposure to a broad range of hospitality management functions, including:

  • Restaurant operations and service management
  • Customer service excellence and guest experience
  • Food safety and workplace compliance
  • Purchasing and supplier coordination
  • Inventory control and stock management
  • Labour planning and workforce coordination
  • Cash handling and financial administration
  • Menu planning and menu performance review
  • Staff induction and team supervision
  • Event and function coordination
  • Sales and promotional activities
  • Leadership and business administration

Participants will receive ongoing mentoring and workplace training while developing a practical understanding of restaurant and café management within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Ideal Candidate

Applicants should possess:

  • A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Management or a related discipline;
  • A genuine interest in restaurant and café management;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A willingness to learn and develop practical management competencies;
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team environment.

Recent graduates seeking practical industry experience and professional development are encouraged to apply.
