Seeking experienced Packaging Operators with strong GMP and food safety mindset for a fast-paced FMCG site – immediate start.

The Opportunity

Location: Virginia
Shift: Day Permanent roster – 8 hours, Day Shift, 6am to 2.30pm.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our food manufacturing team.

Working on the Assorted Pack Line, you’ll be responsible for operating packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining strict food safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery to meet production targets
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specification and presentation standards
Always Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and food safety requirements
Set up and change over packaging lines as required
Identify and escalate any faults or issues with equipment or product quality
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Ensure work areas are kept clean and compliant with hygiene standards
Work collaboratively with the wider production team to achieve daily targets

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in packaging in food manufacturing or FMCG production
Exposure to packaging lines, processing equipment and automated machinery
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards
Experience with allergen control / HACCP”
Prior experience with flow wrapper, bagger, palletiser
“Must be able to pass pre-employment medical”
Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes strictly
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling
Reliable, team-focused, and safety-conscious
