About the role

As a Gaming Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of the gaming room, ensuring a safe, compliant, and welcoming experience for members and guests. Working closely with the Duty Manager, you’ll supervise gaming activities, day‑to‑day staff operations, and patron engagement while maintaining high standards of presentation, service, and regulatory compliance.

This is a hands‑on operational role suited to someone who is confident managing gaming compliance, cash handling, and customer service in a dynamic hospitality environment. From time to time, you will be required to perform the duties of the Duty Manager, supporting smooth venue operations as required.

The position operates on a three‑week rotating roster, including day, night & weekend shifts, with four shifts per week and one full weekend off every three weeks.

About you

You are an experienced gaming professional who takes pride in running a well‑organised, compliant, and customer‑focused gaming room. With a strong knowledge of Victorian gaming regulations and responsible gambling practices, you bring a calm, professional approach to supervising staff and supporting patrons.

You enjoy being hands‑on, are detail‑focused when it comes to cash handling and reporting, and are confident managing patron interactions, including resolving issues with discretion and care. Reliable, approachable, and service‑driven, you contribute positively to team culture and understand the importance of delivering consistent, high‑quality experiences for members and guests.

You must hold (or be willing to obtain) the following current certifications and accreditations:

  • Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG)
  • Victorian Gaming Employee Licence
  • AML/CTF Training
  • TAB Cash Control Accreditation
