About the Role
The position of Paediatric Registrar (in the role of Paediatric Advanced Trainee Fellow) will:
Pursue Advanced Paediatric Training in Child Protection and Paediatric Forensic Medicine through the context of a multidisciplinary team structure with supervision by specialist senior medical officer with expertise in Child Protection and Forensic Medicine
Deliver medical services through participation in clinical duties at Fellow level and in accordance with the policies, practices and Values of the Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
Demonstrate commitment to evidence-based practice, research and quality improvement activities, including undertaking clinical audits and clinical risk management activities.
Assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and the training of medical and allied health students.
There are 2 x 6 months or 1 x 12 month positions available on a full-time basis as well as 2 x part-time (45.6 hours per fornight) positions available with start dates of 1 February 2027 to 6 February 2028.
