What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrates high level clinical knowledge and expertise relevant to the delivery of evidence-based clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology services to patients at The Park Centre for Mental Health. Demonstrated expertise in the application of standardised psychology tools as well as high level clinical judgement.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills in providing patients with a high standard of care.
Demonstrates ability to provide a high standard of effective verbal and written communication in multidisciplinary teams. Timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation of assessments and interventions, including chart entries, database entries, and psychology reports.
Proactively develops and demonstrates commitment to learning and skill diversification. Actively contributes to a learning environment through clinical supervision, mentoring, and skill sharing. Identifies opportunities for quality improvement and research and actively contributes to same.
Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and respect for all patients, carers, and staff. Demonstrates knowledge of and practices within relevant professional and ethical guidelines.
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
Postgraduate training and / or extensive experience in clinical neuropsychology and / or clinical psychology is required for this position.
