About Us:
Maison Rêve Pâtisserie & Crêperie is a passionate, local family-owned small business opening very soon on the beachfront at 8 Normanby Street, Yeppoon.
No corporate coldness here — we are all about good vibes, a stress-free environment, mutual respect, and making people happy with authentic, delicious homemade food. We work with professional, high-end commercial equipment and are building a dedicated, stable team under long-term conditions.
The Role:We are seeking an experienced, pragmatic, and highly organized Food & Beverage Supervisor / Assistant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and daily floor service. You will oversee a dynamic team of 8–10 staff (including baristas and casuals), handle scheduling, and manage rosters using our automated point-of-sale system (Lightspeed).
Requirements:- Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Hospitality OR 2+ years of proven experience supervising a team in a busy café or restaurant environment.- Skills: Solid hands-on experience in either Floor Service, Coffee/Barista, or basic kitchen operations. Tech-savvy enough to easily adapt to digital systems (Lightspeed).- Certifications: Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) and RSA are preferred, but we will give you time to complete them online once you start!
- Leadership: A fair, respectful, and organized management style.What We Offer:- Highly competitive Casual hourly rate ($38.00 - $40.00/hour depending on experience and certifications).- Guaranteed stable volume of hours (No less than 32 hours per week).-
