Senior Front End Engineer - Fintech - Remote

I have teamed up with an expanding technology company located in Australia that is experiencing a thrilling phase of expansion. This is a great opportunity to join the company at an exciting time, as they have plans to introduce a new product feature, expand globally, and grow their engineering team.

With a remote-first work approach, this business is helping to build out software that helps everyday individuals, accountants, and businesses, identify, track, and organise their crypto activity across multiple exchanges and blockchains, with well over 3000 integrations into exchanges, wallets, protocols, and more. Weathering the harsh 2022 Crypto market, this business has done well to keep their head down and continue to build, with new product features being released and an ever-growing market presence globally. Now, in 2024 and beyond, they have plans to build a whole new product line for their core platform, improve on their global integration piece, and ensure their platform can scale to meet these growing transactions.

Role:
Writing code that is simple to maintain (using React and TypeScript) in order to turn intricate business needs into sophisticated, high-performing solutions. Take ownership of all aspects of development, focusing predominantly on frontend features. Collaborate closely with the product team to play a key role in influencing the development of exciting new features. Support and mentor fellow engineers, nurturing an environment of ongoing growth and enhancement.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working with Typescript and React.
  • In-depth experience with AWS cloud services & MongoDB is highly beneficial.
  • You have prior experience working in a start-up environment.
  • Strong understanding of modern development practices, including domain-driven development.
  • You can design and implement front end architectures that scale.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia to apply.
