Full job description
We’re Jetstar. We are excited to share the long-anticipated news that we are opening a brand-new base in Perth! Traveling the length and breadth of Australia from our new home in WA!
You may know us for our famous low fares, but did you also know that we’ve flown more than 400 million customers since we launched in Australia in 2004? In fact, each week we operate around 3,000 flights to nearly 40 destinations across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific. We also operate a fleet of more than 80 aircraft, including state-of-the-art Airbus A320/21 NEO aircraft and the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 787-8s. Every day we enable more people to take-off to more places, more often.
Impressive numbers? What's even more impressive is the team of extraordinary people taking off together day in day out, flight after flight.
Job Description
- Flying to destinations across Australia
- Permanent full-time job opportunity, 7-day rotating roster
- Gain Qantas Group benefits from day 1
Fly into your new role
Our Cabin Crew are hosts-with-the-most, holidaymakers, safety-first professionals and problem-solvers. They bring a fun, feel-good energy to every journey, while playing a critical role onboard to keep every flight safe, compliant and running smoothly.
As a Jetstar Cabin Crew member, no two flights are the same. You’ll lead with safety - delivering briefings, managing onboard procedures and responding confidently in dynamic situations. At the same time, you’ll create a positive, memorable experience for our passengers, from the moment they step onboard to touchdown. You’ll anticipate needs, keeping everyone hydrated and well-fed, and handle challenges with care and composure. Working closely with your crew, you’ll keep everything running smoothly. Balancing professionalism with personality and bringing the holiday vibe to every flight!
Love travel and meeting new people? You’re in the right place. As a team, we’re lucky to do both every day. We look out for each other, take pride in what we do, and create an environment where our customers feel safe, relaxed and ready to enjoy their journey. Together, we deliver great experiences, grow professionally, and bring energy, care and a sense of fun to the skies.
Ready for your next work adventure? You don’t need any aviation experience to apply.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- At least 18 years of age
- A customer service star with 1+ years of experience creating great customer moments
- Hold a passport with a minimum of 12 months’ validity
- Unlimited working rights in Australia (no sponsorship required)
- Willing to obtain (or already hold) a current First Aid and CPR certification
- Willing to obtain (or already hold) a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Physically fit and confident in the water, including the ability to swim and tread water
- Able to meet safety reach requirements (212cm reach, maximum height of 186cm)
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work shift work including weekends and holidays
- Available to commit to 86 weeks of paid, full-time ground school training
Please note that this role is based in Perth, and you must be willing to live and work from this location. Any relocation or travel must occur before you start training and will be at your own expense.
