About the role

Cafe 63 Winston Glades is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
• Support the coordination of food production during busy service periods.
• Maintain portion control and minimise food waste.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Follow food safety procedures, including temperature checks, correct food storage, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Assist in guiding and supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Help train and support junior kitchen team members.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to the Head Chef.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
