Cook – Café 63 Springfield (Springfield, QLD)
Location: Springfield, Queensland
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 + Superannuation
Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)

Café 63 is a popular café chain, well-known for its fresh coffee, extensive breakfast and lunch menu, and vibrant atmosphere. Our Springfield location offers a wide range of delicious meals, catering to a diverse customer base with high-quality food and exceptional service.
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team and contribute to the success of our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items in accordance with Café 63’s quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and plating across all dishes served.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining stock levels, ensuring ingredients are fresh and readily available.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Operate and maintain cooking appliances such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stoves to prepare meals efficiently.
- Monitor food wastage and assist in minimizing costs while maintaining food quality.
Skills & Qualifications:
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
- Relevant experience in a café or restaurant setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety standards.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
