At Imaging Associates (IA), we’re proud to be a doctor-led radiology provider with a strong reputation for clinical excellence, exceptional patient care and genuine connection to the communities we serve.

With established clinics across Melbourne, Gippsland and Wagga Wagga, IA continues to grow with purpose — investing in our people, technology and specialist imaging services to deliver outstanding care for patients and referrers.

Our newest chapter begins in Footscray in October 2026, as we expand into Melbourne’s west and build a new clinic designed to support a vibrant and growing community from day one.

Our Footscray clinic represents an exciting opportunity to help shape a new site from the beginning, support the local community, and contribute to an important step in IA’s journey.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment, patient-centred collaborative team. Our Footscray Clinic will also be home to IA’s first established PET department, making Footscray a unique opportunity to help build a service that will make a meaningful difference for our patients in the local community.

About the Role

As a Medical Imaging Receptionist, you'll be the first smile our patients see and the first voice they hear.

Through your professionalism and genuine care, you'll help patients feel welcomed, informed and supported throughout their visit.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on variety, and gains satisfaction from helping others. You'll be part of a collaborative team that takes pride in delivering exceptional service every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and create a positive first impression of the clinic
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient bookings
  • Answer calls and respond to enquiries from patients and referrers
  • Support patients through their clinic journey with empathy and professionalism
  • Manage patient invoicing, receipting and administration processes
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic

About You

You're someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You remain calm under pressure, communicate confidently, and enjoy building positive relationships with patients, colleagues and referrers alike. You'll bring:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment (medical reception experience highly regarded but not essential)
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems

  • Flexibility to support nearby clinic locations when required.
