Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated high level knowledge and clinical skills as recognised by clinical experience, professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications.
Demonstrated ability to apply high-level scientific judgement to perform, interpret and report laboratory analyses in Cytogenetics.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member, to produce an effective work output in terms of quality and quantity, and to communicate effectively.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to assist with the performance and operation of one or more work groups.
Demonstrated contributions to the quality of clinical practice within Cytogenetics, through compliance with organisational policies and procedures and maintenance of relevant legislative, administrative, and professional standards, including NATA / ISO / TGA accreditation / certification requirements.
This position is specifically for the validation of microarray analysis platform. Experience and ability to undertake molecular method/assay validation would be of advantage.
