Resident Medical Officer | Buderim Hospital

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

The role will be responsible for providing routine inpatient care and after-hours admissions, supporting specialists and the clinical nursing team by providing clinical assessment services to newly admitted patients or changed condition of current patients as required.

What makes a difference for us?

You will be an experienced Medical Practitioner with a demonstrated passion for delivering person-centred care through living our values and through exceptional communication. In alignment with our values, you have a commitment to ongoing professional development and will present with:

• Current & full unrestricted general registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA (no limited registrations)

• Minimum of 3 years post Graduate experience

• Full Australian Working Rights (please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time)

• PGY3 and above

• Recent relevant acute care experience and confidence in managing complex patients

• Experience in and available to work in Critical Care Unit highly desirable

• Understanding of National Safety and Quality in Health care standards

• Workplace Health and Safety Act and infection control procedures

• Availability to work all shifts including AM, PM, nights and weekends

• Advanced Life Support Training

• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
