Resident Medical Officer | Buderim Hospital

Employment Term: Permanent Part Time or Casual Opportunities Available

Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast QLD

Remuneration: Competitive Hourly Rate + Casual Loading + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team
The role will be responsible for providing routine inpatient care and after-hours admissions, supporting specialists and the clinical nursing team by providing clinical assessment services to newly admitted patients or changed condition of current patients as required.

You will be an experienced Medical Practitioner with a demonstrated passion for delivering person-centred care through living our values and through exceptional communication. In alignment with our values, you have a commitment to ongoing professional development and will present with:

Current & full unrestricted general registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA (no limited registrations)

Minimum of 3 years post Graduate experience
-
Full Australian Working Rights (please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time)
-
PGY3 and above
-
Recent relevant acute care experience and confidence in managing complex patients
-
Experience in and available to work in Critical Care Unit highly desirable
-
Understanding of National Safety and Quality in Health care standards
-
Workplace Health and Safety Act and infection control procedures
-
Availability to work all shifts including AM, PM, nights and weekends
-
Advanced Life Support Training
-
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
