Your new Role:

The Electrician/Solar Installer position is responsible for overseeing the construction workmanship for Energybuild projects and the work that surrounds these types of projects. Their position is to oversee and review quality of work, provide technical advice and support, solve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and lead by example on safety matters.

  • Electrical wiring including construction and maintenance of switch boards
  • Design and installation of solar PV systems
  • Electrical fit off, commissioning and testing (including fault finding)
  • Battery installations
  • Complete safety audits on each contractor quarterly, ensuring non-compliant items are rectified, and issues elevated where necessary
  • Identify OH&S hazards and ensures sites are safe prior to work commencement
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with the Energybuild office staff
  • Ensure subcontractors are complying with current regulations and using correct practices in line with CEC and Energybuild requirements

About You:

  • Have a trade background and/or relevant competency and knowledge in Solar PV generation and Electrical services
  • Service focused – thrives on obtaining customer satisfaction
  • Proactive – takes control and ownership of ‘hold points’ to ensure timeliness and follow through
  • Methodical – careful, thorough, and systematic to ensure points are not missed
  • Skillful – able to give direction and supply a plan for when details may not be supplied on building plans
  • Assertive – conducts business dealings clearly
  • Safety conscious – aware of and pro-active with safety matters
