Radiologist (Area of Need) – Accredited IMG Upskilling Position

New Medical Imaging is currently seeking a motivated Radiologist (Area of Need) to join our expanding private radiology group in Melbourne's north-west.

We are accredited to provide Area of Need (AON) upskilling for eligible International Medical Graduate (IMG) radiologists, offering a supportive environment focused on professional development, clinical excellence and high-quality patient care.

New Medical Imaging is a well-established and growing independent radiology practice providing comprehensive diagnostic and interventional imaging services across Craigieburn, Broadmeadows and Gladstone Park.

Our services include:

• MRI
• CT
• Ultrasound
• General X-ray
• Dental Imaging
• Bone Densitometry
• Echocardiography
• Interventional Radiology

There are no on-call or after-hours commitments, allowing an excellent work-life balance.

Internationally trained radiologists who are eligible for an Area of Need upskilling position, as well as recently qualified FRANZCR fellows, are encouraged to apply.

You will join a busy, supportive and collaborative team with access to a broad range of imaging modalities and valuable private practice experience.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) or have met the RANZCR requirements for a 12-month Area of Need (AON) upskilling position
• AHPRA Specialist Registration or eligibility for appropriate Area of Need registration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Appropriate Australian or New Zealand work rights or eligibility to obtain the required visa for this position
