Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Senior Tech to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment and enjoys working across diverse technologies to support multiple clients. You will play a critical role in administering networks, managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, supporting hardware, and serving as an escalation point for complex IT issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Administration:
• Configure, monitor, and maintain client network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Implement and manage VPNs, VLANs, and other network security measures.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Office 365 & Azure AD Administration:
• Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions in Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory.
• Implement and enforce security policies, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access.
• Troubleshoot email flow, synchronization, and other Office 365-related issues.
• Hardware Support:
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktop, laptop, server, and printer hardware issues.
• Perform hardware upgrades and replacements for clients.
• Work with vendors to facilitate warranty repairs and manage hardware inventory.
• Set up and configure new workstations and servers for client deployments.
• General IT Support & Client Management:
• Serve as an escalation point for complex technical support tickets from our help desk team.
• Provide remote and on-site support to clients as needed.
• Document all work thoroughly in our PSA (Professional Services Automation) and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation for client environments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar technical role, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN) and experience with firewalls (e.g., SonicWall, Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos).
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Office 365, including user management, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Active Directory and identity management.
• Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
• Experience with Windows Server (2012-2022) and Active Directory.
• Outstanding customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Relevant industry certifications such as: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals/Administrator, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA.
• Experience with common MSP tools, such as ConnectWise, Autotask, Kaseya, Datto RMM, or NinjaRMM.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices (antivirus, endpoint detection and response, patch management).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
