Join Australia’s Leading Property Developer – Meriton

We are currently seeking a qualified and skilled Maintenance Carpenter to join our dynamic team to work on our completed projects across Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity for a trade professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to be part of a reputable organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and repair water leaks to ensure structural integrity.

  • Perform gyprock installations and patch repairs with precision.

  • Carry out fire door repairs and maintenance, including adjustments to hinges, closers, seals and hardware in accordance with AS1905.1 and AS1851.

  • Maintain and repair aluminum doors and window systems.

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team on a wide range of carpentry-related tasks across Meriton’s extensive property portfolio.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance carpentry, including leak detection, gyprocking, fire door servicing and aluminum systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.

  • Strong understanding of Australian Building Codes and WHS regulations.

  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.

  • Full Time, Permanent Work Rights in Australia

  • Current NSW Driver’s License (required).
