- Brand-new medical practice opening October 2026
Bunbury City GP is a new GP-owned family practice opening in October 2026 in central Bunbury. We are part of an established Western Australian medical practice group and are looking for a friendly, compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse / Practice Nurse to join our team from the outset.
This is an opportunity to help establish a clinic from day one rather than step into an existing routine. You will have real input into how the treatment room, clinical stock, cold chain processes and nursing workflows are established.
Responsibilities will include:
- Patient care
- Medical assessments, including triage
- Diagnostic procedures including ECG, spirometry, blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring
- Assistance with minor surgical procedures
- Wound care and dressings
- Immunisations, including childhood and adult vaccinations
- Chronic disease management support and care planning
- Cold chain management, sterilisation and infection control
Skills required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- High standard of nursing care
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, or eligibility for registration
- Recognised RN qualification or eligibility
- A compassionate, professional and patient-focused work ethic
Previous General Practice nursing experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
If you are a Registered Nurse looking for a change, this is a great opportunity to join a new team and develop your skills within General Practice nursing.
Bunbury offers an attractive regional lifestyle within approximately two hours of Perth, with beautiful beaches and excellent access to the wider South West.
Recent graduates and nurses who require General Practice training are welcome to apply. Visa sponsorship may also be considered for the right candidate.
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we would be pleased to hear from you.
- Opportunity to join the team from day one
- Great working conditions
- Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate
Pay: $41.00 – $50.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
