Your new company

We are partnered with this State Government organisation in Brisbane CBD to recruit an Advisor (Document Control) for a six-month contract with the potential to extend further.
Your new role
As an Advisor (Document Control), you will be part of the Project document control team and be responsible for project document control activities to support successful delivery of the project. In this temporary role, you will:
- Review and update Project Document Control Management Plans.
- Support document management process users to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assess and improve document and information management solutions.
- Securely store, track, and respond to documents and information.
- Conduct training sessions on the project document control system.
- Coordinate review and approval processes for program documentation.
- Develop and maintain workflows in the Document Management System.
- Ensure compliance with the Project Document Management Plan and Queensland State Record Keeping Policies.
- Assist with complex correspondence, reports, audits, submissions, and archiving.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this position, you should have:
- Document Control experience.
- Experience with project data sources like InEight Document (TeamBinder), MS Teams, SharePoint, and Content Manager.
- Government experience is ideal.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and quickly learn new systems and processes.
