Tasks and Qualifications:
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate or Junior Software Engineer to join our close-knit AGV Customer Service team, based in the Belrose office. You will be supporting, maintaining, developing and upgrading critical software that manages product moved by our AGV robots in warehouses, distribution centres and factories across the APAC region.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from technical experts and gain valuable experience by assisting and working with our more senior Engineers with condition monitoring, breakdown support, software development and assisting in the implementation of upgrades, system improvements and changes. This is a customer facing role and requires good technical and interpersonal skills to resolve complicated issues. Occasional travel may be required as directed by business needs.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and experience....
Mandatory skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
-
C# (.NET Framework)
-
WPF (ideally using MVVM)
-
SQL (SQL Server preferred)
-
Entity Framework or other ORM
-
Interest in robotics/automation
-
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
-
Self-motivation, effective teamwork and ability to self-manage when working remotely
Highly valued:

WCF/Web services

Azure DevOps (Git, Pipelines, Pull Requests)

Build automation
-
Exposure to OPC/PLCs
-
Mission critical, real-time software experience

Exposure to warehousing and logistics concepts
