As a large healthcare provider operating across multiple Australian states, we care for communities nationwide through our network of hospitals offering acute, medical, surgical, mental health, and rehabilitation services.
What makes working with Healthscope different?
In the private healthcare sector, you’ll gain hands-on experience while being supported every step of the way. As the primary link between patients and doctors, our nurses and midwives play a vital role in delivering exceptional care. You’ll find opportunities to accelerate your career, specialize in areas that inspire you, to enjoy the flexibility that comes from a structured environment.
At Healthscope, we know life doesn’t stop outside of work. That’s why our leaders create rosters that suit your unique career and life stage.
Mount Private Hospital, where caring for patients means more.
Mount Private Hospital is well known as one of the leading private hospitals in Perth. It is a 224 bed acute private hospital centrally located at the foot of the beautiful Kings Park on Mounts Bay Road.
We are Western Australia’s leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit (CCU) offering a 24-hour priority admission service for patients experiencing chest pain or breathing difficulties.
While we’re at the heart of private cardiac services in our state, we bring the same clinical excellence to other specialities such as orthopaedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and general surgery. Having the highest level of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at our hospital means we can support a range of world class surgical specialties.
Enrolled Nurse
Enrolled Nurses at Healthscope perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of registered nurses. Some of the tasks that you may be responsible for, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, include caring for a group of patients, patient admission and discharge, medication administration, wound care, pre- and post-operative care and liaising with medical staff and other health professionals. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
