Job Description

The Receptionist / Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily college operations, coordinating communications, and maintaining accurate student documentation in line with organisational requirements.

Duties

Duties of a Receptionist/ Administration Assistant can vary:

  • Responding to enquiries in person, via phone, and by email
  • Performing general administrative tasks including filing, typing, copying, scanning, and document preparation
  • Assisting with student applications, enrolments, intakes, and orientation activities
  • Managing and monitoring the student attendance system and maintaining accurate records for statutory reporting requirements
  • Updating and maintaining student information within the student management system
  • Organising and maintaining student academic and administrative files
  • Supporting the coordination of student registration and induction processes
  • Undertaking general office duties as required

To be successful you will have:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with flexibility and efficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with effective time management abilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Other:

  • The ability to communicate in more than one language is highly regarded, supporting effective engagement with a diverse international student cohort

This is an entry-level position. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for successful candidates without prior experience in an educational environment.
