About Us

Agri Storage & Logistics Pty Ltd is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our operations team on a full-time basis. This role is critical in ensuring that our agricultural storage and logistics processes consistently meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality assurance systems across our storage and logistics operations, ensuring all products are handled and stored in compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine quality inspections of grain storage facilities

Maintain compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements

Implement and review quality assurance procedures and documentation

Collect grain samples and assist with testing to ensure product quality is maintained

Investigate any quality issues and work with the team to resolve them effectively

Maintain accurate records, reports, and audit documentation

Support internal and external audits, including certification processes

Work closely with operations staff to promote a strong quality culture

Assist with staff training on quality procedures and compliance standards

Skills & Experience

Degree in science, quality assurance, environmental health or a related field

Previous experience in a similar QA role, ideally within agriculture, food handling, or logistics

Good understanding of GTA standards, Grain Industry Code of Practice, DAFF export standards and quality management systems

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Clear communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Ability to manage tasks independently and meet reporting deadlines

Salary

$81,000 plus per annum depending on skills and experience
