You’re someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.

You're ready to help shape our narrative. Your expertise will amplify the impact of initiatives, foster public trust and ensure our stakeholders are engaged and empowered by what we do.

In this role, you'll:
Join our Customer Behaviour team where you will create engaging visual communications that bring complex transport planning initiatives to life. You will develop high-quality graphics, maps, publications and infographics that help communicate strategic planning outcomes and support the delivery of transport initiatives across NSW.

Working closely within a Graphic Design team, supporting the Operations Planning branch, you will transform insights, data and ideas into clear, accessible and visually compelling design collateral. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of strategic projects through creative thinking, strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, consistency and accessibility.

You will

  • Deliver graphic design, complex mapping, publication layout and infographic solutions that support strategic transport planning projects.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to understand project objectives and translate complex information into engaging visual content.
  • Support the delivery of collateral, desktop publishing and copywriting activities from concept through to final production.
  • Ensure collateral alignment with corporate branding, communication standards and accessibility requirements.
  • Create innovative visual design that communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Contribute to the execution of design briefs and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate design records and archives to support future access and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure all creative outputs comply with Transport Brand guidelines, accessibility and publishing requirements.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering hybrid working options from our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office.

About you

You are an experienced graphic design professional with a strong background delivering corporate design solutions in complex organisational environments. Your experience in graphic design within a Corporate environment, ideally within a government agency will be highly regarded.

You build strong relationships with stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You thrive in fast-paced environments where competing priorities and tight deadlines are the norm, and you can confidently adapt to changing requirements while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Your ability to prioritise competing tasks, remain flexible and respond positively to shifting business needs ensures you can consistently support the successful delivery of multiple projects at the same time.

Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive industry experience, are essential.
