The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the person our guests rely on to handle transactions at the front desk, offer local insights, and anticipate every detail of their stay to ensure it is seamless and memorable.

You will be an excellent brand ambassador and create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Welcome and farewell guests with warm, personalised service.
• Complete check-ins, check-outs and guest transactions.
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly.
• Provide information on Hayman Island facilities, dining and activities.
• Coordinate guest requests with relevant resort departments.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and provide service recovery.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and records in Opera.
• Assist with luggage, transfers and other guest services as required.
• Uphold InterContinental brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Base rate $28.38 + penalties + loading

To be successful in this part-time role, you’ll have:

• We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ideally you will have you’ll have spent a minimum of one year in a 5 star front desk or guest service position and be able to provide a high-level of serviceCPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest interaction and team collaboration.
• Understanding and previous experience in Opera is desirable.
