About the role

As a Sales Representative for Groundworks Australia, you will develop new and existing client relationships and convert opportunities into secured work. The role is predominantly based across South East Queensland, with occasional travel to support clients and projects in other regions. You will work closely with marketing, estimating and operations, with sales activity managed through Zoho CRM.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Follow up and convert marketing-generated leads
• Identify new clients, projects and sales opportunities
• Conduct regular face-to-face client meetings and site visits
• Promote Groundworks services and match solutions to client needs
• Work with estimating to develop proposals and pricing
• Follow up quotes and opportunities through to outcome
• Maintain an accurate, active pipeline in Zoho CRM
• Ensure secured projects are handed over effectively to Operations
• Maintain client relationships to support repeat business

About you

• Minimum 2 years' B2B sales experience
• Proven ability to build and maintain commercial relationships
• Strong face-to-face communication and presentation skills
• Confidence dealing with commercial decision-makers
• A proactive approach to business development and follow-up
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Experience using a CRM and managing a sales pipeline
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel occasionally when required

Groundworks Australia provides specialist landscape installation and revegetation services to the civil construction, commercial landscaping, playground and development industries. Our services include Ecoblanket®, soil and mulch installation, playground softfall, hydromulching, soil screening and slinger applications. With a rapidly expanding specialised fleet, we continue to grow our capacity to deliver projects of varying size and complexity. Our clients include civil and landscape contractors, councils, developers, schools, playground builders and landscape architects.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
