We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to join our team as our new Human Resources Manager.

Located adjacent to Darling Harbour, Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveller. About the Role:

Working in Australia’s largest premium hotel with a workforce of over 450 employees, we operate with a high occupancy year around and sustain a high profile within the Hyatt network. Reporting into the HR Director, you will be an integral part of the HR team, implementing initiatives throughout the business, providing advice and support to a range of stakeholders.

This is a career developing, hands on role for an individual wanting to challenge their skills in a fast paced and constant environment where no two days are the same, and where our culture of care connects us. You will need to use your skills and experience as a HR leader to adapt to a range of queries and requests and work comfortably with colleagues from all levels and areas of the hotel.

The main responsibilities are:

  • The growth and development of the HR team
  • Overseeing end to end HR services
  • Building a safety first culture and oversee the implementation of our WHSMS
  • Manage IR and ER processes including compliance and dispute resolution

Our preferred candidate:

  • Will have operational hotel knowledge in an upscale property and at least 1 year experience in a senior HR role
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Strong knowledge of HIGA and FWA
  • RTW coordinator certification
  • Full working rights for Australia
