You will be expected to follow each client’s care plan, respect their choices and privacy, complete accurate progress notes, and report any concerns or changes in client wellbeing to the appropriate manager or coordinator. These duties align with your current position description, which includes supporting clients with community access, direct care, documentation, privacy, client safety and person-centred support.

  • Follow workplace health and safety, infection control, privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Work professionally with clients, families, carers, coordinators and other team members.
  • Attend required training, meetings and supervision where required.

About You

  • Access to a reliable registered and insured vehicle.
  • Current National Police Check, or willing to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Infection control training.
  • Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to use a mobile app to view shifts, clock in and out, and complete progress notes.
  • Willingness to complete mandatory onboarding and training requirements.

Desirable Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or similar.
  • Experience working with people with disability, older people or people requiring in-home support.
  • Manual handling training.
  • Medication assistance training.
  • Experience with personal care, mealtime support, transport or community access.

Availability

We are looking for applicants with availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and short shifts. Please include your general availability when applying.
