Base Salary $93,345 (pro rata 0.40 FTE) + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for a Research Assistant to support an MRFF Grant funded project for the “CONNECTeD” social prescribing pilot study in people with kidney disease
Your key responsibilities will be to:
-
provide support in the coordination of ethics applications, development of trial resources, safety reporting, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including University departments, Local Health Districts and local Councils
-
assist to coordinate clinical trial activities including recruitment activities, site initiation and monitoring, data collection and drive compliance across study processes, ensuring adherence to national regulatory and ethical requirements and ICH GCP and applicable SOPs
-
assist to identify potential risks to project timelines and budgets, implementing contingency plans as necessary
-
maintain effective communication with internal and external partners, facilitating discussions to address concerns and gather feedback
-
report to the Project Leads, Chief Investigators and the Study Steering Committees
-
utilise software tools such as REDCap and the Microsoft Office suite to support trial management and reporting.
About you
-
a bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, allied health, medicine, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
-
experience in supporting clinical trials
-
demonstrated experience in social health research
-
demonstrated experience in consumer and patient engagement
-
experience conducting literature searches
-
experience in trial management software and University systems, including REDCap would be well regarded
-
proven stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging internal and external partners across universities and health districts
-
good organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
